    3/16 Ras na hEireann 5k

    The crew showed up in force with some impressive results. With 4015 athletes competing Christopher Simpson placed 3rd in the 40-49 age group and Meg Mitchell Moore debuted with a 4th place in the 30-39 category.  Brian, Terry and Anthony followed with solid performances. RESULTS

    3/1 USATF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

    Christopher Simpson finishes off an amazing season with a bronze medal at the US Indoor National Championships in the Masters 1500m. Don't believe us? Check it yourself on ESPN2. RESULTS

     

    3/1 GASPARILLA 1/2 MARATHON

    The Pricher family took to the Florida sunshine (OK, rainy with a 40 mph headwind) to tackle the half marathon distance. 200m and 1/2 in the same season? That's range. RESULTS
     

    3/1 CLADDAGH 4 MILER

    Big Anthony finished with a 33:23 in the heaping snow completing the second race in the Wild Rover Series- two down, one pint..umm...race to go. RESULTS

    FEBRUARY2/22 USATF NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS

    Christopher Simpson continued his tear earning the B&Ts their first ever points at the NE Champs. His 1:57.45 was good for 7th. Doug Williams flew through the first 200m of his 400m and then held strong to place second in his heat at 56.12 and Jackson put in his best effort of the year in the 200m with a 25.32. Terry Pricher flew out of the gates anchoring the 4x400m to a club record. All in, a good day for the boys. RESULTS

     

    2/14 BU VALENTINES INVITATIONAL

    Christopher Simpson is back on top after his outstanding 2:32 1000m at the Valentines Invite against some of the regions best College and Open athletes. Damn- if you don't believe us check the video for yourself.  RESULTS & VIDEO

     

    2/7 REEBOK BOSTON INDOOR GAMES

    The Olympians were nervous when they heard that Simpi was showing up. And with good reason.  He lay poised to strike through the first four quarters of the masters mile and then held his own in the last lap finishing in fifth. RESULTS

    JANUARY

    1/24 REGGIE POYAU ALUMNI RELAYS

    The Black and Tans, the model of consistency, showed that dogged determination pays off with their first alumni relays win. Celebrated with 25 years of Brandeis Track at The Boyne.

     


    1/18 GBTC INVITATIONAL

    Douglas Williams opened up a solid day at Harvard University with an arse bustin 55.61 400m.

    Brian Moore followed up with a heat winning 26.10 in the first section of the Masters 200m (OK, he's only 39)

    Christoper Simpson set another season's best in the mile with a 4:23.10. This is getting ridiculous.RESULTS

     


    1/3 BU DEVELOPMENTAL:

    Christoper Simpson fought through a tough field placing 3rd in the 800m with a time of 1:57.42. The fastest in the US this year by a Master. Doug Williams opened with a solid 200m finishing with a time of 25.41. Terry and Jackson will live to fight another day. RESULTS

     

    DECEMBER

    12/27 BU DEVELOPMENTAL:

    Christoper Simpson doubled down in the 800m and mile and posted impressive times in both running a 4:24 and a 2:00 while running negative splits.Jackson ran his first 200m since the Clinton administration and managed to make it around once without stopping. RESULTS

     

    12/13 HARVARD OPEN:

    Christoper Simpson debuted in the seeded heat of the Men's mile finishing strong with a 4:30. The relay acquitted itself respectably, making it the entire way without a baton drop, which is more than the USA 4x100 team can say. RESULTS

     

    12/6 FRESH POND 2.5:

    The first big win of the season came with Christopher Simpson's 18 second defeat of the field at the Fresh Pond 2.5. Read about it in the Globe.  

    NOVEMBER

    11/8 RUN FOR ALL AGES 5k:

    In a race for the ages the Black and Tans dominated thier age groups. Simpy took 1st in the 40+ placing 6th overall. Son of a Pricher man took third in the 35-39. Damn. RESULTS

    OCTOBER

    10/5 MARLBOROUGH MILE:

    Simpy ripped it up with a solid 4:22 which was good for a close second. Jackson trailed in 6th having to outkick a high school girl en route to his 21st century road mile PR. RESULTS

    10/5 RODMAN RIDE FOR KIDS:

    TP hit the roads and put in 50 for a good cause. That's right, 50 miles. Longer than most Dads will drive without getting pissed off.

    10/5 APPLE HARVEST 1M FUN RUN:

    Adeline Rose debuted with a solid 9:22. She passed a boy in a red shirt who passed her back only to have her run him down in the last 30m. Ballsy for 5. RESULTS

     

    10/19 PADDY'S PUB SHILLELAGH SHUFFLE :

    Christopher threw down against a solid field and knocked out 3 miles in 5:44 pace. Terry was not that far behind. They dominated the All-Asian division. RESULTS


     

    10/19 DOROTHY'S RUN 5k:

    The Jackson family both cracked the top 10 with Brian placing a cool 5th and Meg running him down in 8th. Damn good thing it wasn't a 6k. RESULTS


     

    10/19 SALEM WITCH CITY 5k:

    Don the Dragon placed a solid 11th in his age group, out-kicking two hobgoblins and a merman RESULTS
